What is the eligibility for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering at SGI?

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry or Computer Science, securing a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

Graduates can work as Aerospace Engineers, Aircraft Design Engineers, Avionics Engineers, Structural Analysts, Aerodynamics Engineers, and Quality Control Engineers in aerospace, defence, aviation, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Opportunities also exist in DRDO, HAL, ISRO, and the Indian Air Force (civilian roles).

The curriculum covers Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Aircraft Structures, Propulsion Systems, Avionics, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), Aircraft Design, and Manufacturing Processes, alongside core engineering mathematics and science subjects.

Students have access to aeronautical laboratories, simulation and CAD/CAM labs, and CFD software for aircraft analysis. The infrastructure supports hands-on project work including wing design analysis, fuselage structural analysis, and landing gear design.

Students are trained on tools including ANSYS (for CFD and FEA), CATIA, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and AutoCAD, all widely used in the aerospace and defence industry.
