Professional Grooming of Students by Raghu & Rajiv Mr. Raghu Ram and Mr. Rajiv Laxman Joins Hands with SGI as Executive Mentor and Executive Advisor respectively in Faculty of Management at SGI. The mega seminar was organized at campus of Samalkha Group of Institutions, Samalkha. The Seminar was conducted by the famous twins ?Raghu & Rajiv(MTV Roadies Hosts & Creators). Seminar was widely attended by students, parents, Faculty and other members of Society from different strata. The two main themes covered today were ?Who am I? and ?Attitude-Reasoning for Life?. LAUNCH OF J-GATE ON-LINE LIBRARY In order to have an updated and an extreme knowledge base, Samalkha Group of Institutions has taken a great initiative to set up a J-GATE ONLINE library on 1st April 2011. There is already Del-Net e-journals library in or-der to meet the research related requirements of students who are studying at campus.  |Download|

Mega Placement Drive: A job fair was organized at Samalkha Group of Institutions on 15th March, 2011, attracted a huge number of aspirants. The main objective of this event was to provide placement opportunities for Engineering and M.B.A Students. Corporate giants like HCL, AIRCEL, UTI MUTUAL FUND, WNS etc. participated in the Job fair. SGI selected as Zonal centre for Prelims of Robo-Opus11: Robo-Opus11 is an initiative by Robosapiens India in association with Technex11 IT BHU towards Robotics. It?s a National level Robotics Championship. The prelim rounds will be organized at Samalkha Group of Institutions. Robo Opus will be held across India by holding prelim rounds at 25 Zonal centers. Zonal Winner of Robo Opus will participate in the final Round of Robo Opus 2011 at IT-BHU during Technex11 on 3rd -6th March?11.  |Download|

TECHNOVISION CELEBRATION: After organizing successfully its 1st Tech- fest (?Technovision-2010?), SGI organized ?Tech-fest? again, christened as ?Technovision-2010 (Second Inning)? at its campus from 3rd to 4th December, 2010. Degree of student participation was very high and about fifty projects from SGI and twenty projects from neighboring Colleges/ Schools were displayed. Some of the prime projects displayed by students included Hydraulic Lift, Motorized Material Handling System, Break failure indicator, Front door guard system, Anti theft alarm for bikes, Railway crossing system & Fuel reserve indicator.  |Download|

Tie-up with Microsoft: Recently SGI concluded a Tie-Up with Microsoft for providing MS Office specialist certification.SGI is providing this specialist certification programs in its Labs. SGI has upgraded the software and hardware required to complete this certification. This certification will not only help the students in getting them placable in the market but also help them in their curriculum during their degree programme.  |Download|
