As a part of the Campus Recruitment Drive Programme, Samalkha Group of Institutions organized a Campus Drive for 99acres.com on 23rd
January 2014 at Campus, for their own Management final semester students.
99acres.com is an internet portal dedicated to meet every aspect of the consumer’s needs in the real estate industry. It is a forum
where buyers, sellers and brokers can exchange information, quickly, effectively and inexpensively. At 99 acres, we can advertise a property,
search for a property, browse through properties, build our own property Microsite, and visit other Indian and International sites.
The company targeted final year MBA students. Recruitment process started through online registration till 15th January 2014 through SGi
web portal. 25 students participated in recruitment process.
Out of the 25 students who appeared for the Group Discussion, 14 got shortlisted for the interview round. 99acres.com shortlisted six
candidates for final selection.
During the inaugural session, Director, SGi welcomed all the applicants and extended best wishes to the students. The Event proved successful

Samalkha Group of Institutions organized a Pool Campus Placement Drive for OFOS Services Pvt. Ltd on 29th November 2013 for Engineering CSE/ECE/EEE/ME final semester students. OFOS Services Pvt. Ltd., founded in the year 2006 as a Proprietorship firm till 2009, and there after transformed as a private limited firm. It has grown into a tall spectrum Service Provider for its clients in India and has maintained a leadership position through the years based on valuable promises. OFOS Services Pvt. Ltd. is a company committed to the advancement in Software Development, Corporate Training, Consultancy Services, Management Services, BrakesDown Service, Accounts Solutions, and Event Management to growing companies. The recruitment process started with Group discussions. Group Discussions took place for more than 1 hour followed by a Technical Interview and then HR Interview. Out of the 125 students 50 appeared for Technical interview & 25 appeared for the HR Round. After the HR round of interview 10 students got on the spot. Total 9 students were selected from SGi. From company sources, about 7 students are being put on hold depending on vacancies. TALENT HUNT II ORGANIZED AT SGI, 3RD AUGUST 2013
In context of overwhelming response and grand success of Talent Hunt I, SGi again organized Talent Hunt II on 3rd August 2013 on demand of students. Many students from various places participated in the event. The major participating companies were HCL, iyogi, Convergys, Intarvo, Idea, Cosmic group, Beta soft system, Steria, Mount talent consulting, DLF Pramerica, Shreya Industries ,Ikya Human Capital Solutions. The Job Fair is an event which brings together employers, experienced professionals, and entry level talented individuals under one roof. The job fair was organized for MBA Professionals (Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing) & Engineering Professionals (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science etc.) at SGi Campus. This job fair served as the platform for open and wide-ranging employment opportunities. Around 6000 students from 390 colleges registered for the event. About 140 candidates were shortlisted for further processes. The students were very enthusiastic about the job fair and grabbed the golden opportunity of placements provided to them. SGi always works for better future of students and will continue to work in this direction.

SGi successfully organized “Talent Hunt 2013” on 6th July 2013 to provide a plenty of job opportunities in corporate sector
at National level to the deserving candidates. Many students registered for the event from all over the country. About thousands of
registrations were made online from different parts of the country. Due to overwhelming response, online registrations were closed one day
prior to the scheduled date. About 16 reputed companies visited the campus for hiring candidates against 200+ vacancies.
Due to heavy rush and response, physical registrations were started at SGi at registration counter from 8:00 a.m. onwards. Registration
fee for each candidate was Rs. 100/- and they were issued an entry card. There was no registration fee for students of SGi. With the entry
card students could appear for interviews in different companies according to their qualifications and the profile given by the respective
company. SGi strives for students placements by invitng top companies for the students of SGi and also for students of other educational
institutions. SGi also arranged transport facility for the candidates from Samalkha to the campus. The students were packed with great
zeal and vigour. A flex regarding company details and hiring criteria was made available to the students at many places. This made convenient
for the students to choose the best company for their interview.

Samalkha Group of Institutions again has taken a step ahead to enhance the knowledge of the students about Industries. The Corporate Relations Department of Samalkha Group of Institutions (SGi) has organized open campus placement drive for the company GREENMIND to hire MBA/BBA Candidates on 3rd July 2012. Many candidates appeared in placement drive for Interview out of which five students were offered a very good package as per company policies. Organizing such events which contribute to better future prospective of students has been the key policy of SGi and accordingly many such Programmes and other related events are organized regularly. Students of any part of the country can participate in such events. Placement Drive was conducted with the coordination of SGi students-Sudhir and Vikash Yadav.
